Our Skills and Repair Cafés happen every couple of months and offer local people a place to get their items fixed, or to learn how to fix things themselves. This encourages them to repair and reuse, rather than throw away.
We’d love to add to our team of marvellous menders, so if you have fixing skills and you’d like to do something positive for the local community, please get in touch. We’ve previously supported local people to acquire PAT qualifications, which enable them to test electrical equipment.
The cafés run on weeknights from 5-7pm, with dates announced in advance throughout the year.
