There can be no greater legacy than giving young people the tools they need to save our planet.” Sir David Attenborough

Below are a selection of ideas and resources for how Staveley’s young people can take action and make a difference:

  1. Our Planet is a groundbreaking, four-year collaboration between Netflix, Silverback Films and WWF. It explores the rich natural wonders, iconic species and wildlife spectacles that still remain, and reveals the key issues that urgently threaten their existence. It has produced a range of amazing resources showing what we can do to protect our plant including:   Our Planet school resources

  2. Support Staveley School’s work (and their Eco Council) as part of the Eco-Schools Awards – a national initiative with Seven Steps being the most important aspect of the Eco-Schools programme, schools also work on topics to help give the programme even more structure; marine, biodiversity, energy, litter, global citizenship, healthy living, school grounds, transport, waste and water.
