Rising to the Climate Emergency

Hot on the heels of the climate emergency action summit in Carlisle hosted by Cumbria Action for Sustainability (CAfS) comes the latest report from the Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT) – ‘Rising to the Climate Emergency’. The report – referred to widely during a keynote presentation at the summit from CAT’s Paul Allen – offers practical actions and solutions for collective action at county and local levels on climate emergency declarations and responses. The report is available here online for free as a pdf, or in print, for purchase direct from CAT.

For other great resources from CAT, check out CAT’s People Plate and Planet report and Zero Carbon Britain – a report that spells out how a modern, zero-emissions society is possible using technology available today.
