A NATIONAL WEEK OF EVENTS CELEBRATING ACTION ON CLIMATE CHANGE

In September 2021 communities across the country joined together for the Great Big Green Week. It will be the biggest event for climate and nature ever in the UK, and everyone’s invited!

SENS organised a exciting programme of Great Big Green Week events in Staveley to promote local action on climate change including river dipping, film shows, talks and walks, information stands, litter picks, a Staveley Seedbank, a Bioblitz, plant swops, pledges, campaigns, and other activities!

Many thanks to everyone who attended events, helped to organise or run events and provided general support.

A report outlining the outcomes of the event, accompanied by photos is available for download HERE.
